Buxton RFID Protection Wallet Review

If you’ve heard about radio frequency I.D. theft, then you know how important it is to protect yourself. I was excited to have my husband try out the Buxton RFID protection wallet.

The Buxton Convertible Bi-Fold wallet is made from top-grade leather.

There are plenty of credit card pockets, and a removable insert in the inside.

There is also a removable insert in the outside pocket.

The removal insert on the outside has additional slots for credit cards.

The inside has radio frequency blocking material (notice the stripes).

This is the wallet “fully stocked” with credit/debit cards, cash, etc.

You can see there is a ton of room inside. My husband opted not to use the inside insert because he likes his wallet to be relatively thin.

The exterior insert is great because it holds credit cards and has room for some cash.

On the other side of the insert is a spot for an I.D. My husband puts the fob for our apartment building in it.

This wallet is a bi-fold, but Buxton also has many tri-folds available.

They also sell a full line of items for women.

Overall, my husband is very happy with the Buxton wallet. It gives me a little extra peace of mind knowing that his data is protected against radio frequency devices. On that note, I am happy to say that I know this wallet does work. How, you ask? The fob for us to enter our apartment building uses radio frequency. We just flash the card over the scanner and it unlocks the door. When the card is in this wallet, even if you hold it directly against the scanner–it does not recognize it. To me this is proof that it protects against RFID thieves!
