Microfiber Towel Review

No matter what kind of travel you are doing, a compact towel is probably on your packing list. A towel is a must if you are staying at a hostel or camping. Even if you are at a hotel, you will most likely appreciate having a towel if you are doing hiking, sports, or spending lots of time outdoors. A towel doesn’t need to take up a lot of space or add a lot of weight to your bags. Here is a review of the Lewis N. Clark Campack Microfiber Towel.

The large towel (pictured below) is 22.5 x 24 inches.

It comes in a compact bag that has a carabiner on the top. One side of the bag is mesh.

The other side of the pouch is solid (i.e. not mesh).

I really appreciate not having to worry about losing the mesh pouch when I’m using the towel. There is a small clip that connects the towel to the pouch.

It may be hard to tell from the pictures, but this towel is extremely thin. Nevertheless, I found it extremely absorbent. I have been using it every time I go hiking and it works great to deal with the sweat. I would be a little hesitant to use it after taking a shower–I don’t think it’s really meant for that. You could definitely use it to dry your hair or face though.

I think the compact/thin nature of this towel makes it perfect for traveling. It weighs only roughly 3 ounces and is so easy to pack.
