Tools for Bringing Alcohol on a Cruise

After we posted our recent article about how to save money on drinks on cruises we had some people mention ways to sneak booze on board. Apparently there is a huge market for products meant to conceal alcohol so you can get it past cruise boat security. I can’t speak from experience because I’ve never tried it, but here are some products designed to help you bring your own alcohol on board.

Concealed your booze in compact sunscreen bottle flasks.

Or in lotion containers….

You can even get tampon flasks. I don’t think people will want to give those a close inspection!

If you want to fill your own water bottles, you’ll need to make sure the factory seal is in-tact or you won’t get them on board. There is a special tool designed to re-seal open bottles.

You can even get binoculars that conceal a hidden flask.

If you want to bring a lot of alcohol on board, consider these shampoo and conditioner bottles. The most bang for your buck!

I’d love to hear from anyone who has tries to bring alcohol on board a cruise ship. Did you get caught? What tricks did you use?
